Christmas Traditions (a little late...)

Tunakan Family Christmas

It's been a while since either of my sisters, or myself, have created a new post. To be honest, it's been a pretty busy winter/holiday season. With Claire back at school, Mary and me working full time (and taking multiple ski trips for which you will see photos for later :) ) there wasn't much time to post. Let's hope this spring proves less busy!

For longer than I have been alive, my dad's side of the family has gotten together every other year to celebrate Christmas. And there is one thing that the past generations have done much better than we have in past years: take family photos. With my awesome new camera we strived to remedy this problem and took some family photos that I'm sure will last a lifetime. Enjoy!

Weston Brewing Company

A few Saturdays ago, we visited the Weston Brewing Company. A local company, it was established in 1842 and the original cellars are still open for tours.  We had a wonderful evening touring, tasting, enjoying a gas light dinner and listening to live Irish music (unfortunately no pictures).

To get to one of the cellars farther down, they had to raise the stairs. It was really fun to take a secret tunnel of sorts to get to where we were going.  I was the first one on the way back out and found that they had lowered the stairs back into place after our group. We were trapped! We must not have been quite because another employee quickly lifted the stairs to let us out.

A Most Magical Day Part 4

And so our trip comes to a finale....

This is the last and final day of the trip Mom, Claire and I spent in Orlando, Florida. Most convientently, it also happens to be my favorite park. For those that don't know, I am a HUGE history buff.  Before ever going to Europe, EPOC helped my picture in person the places I had only dreamed about in the books I have read.

And for those who didn't know, just like I didn't know, EPOCT is actually an acronym: Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow

A little fun fact!
Our hotel, The Yacht Club

I think the Starbucks lady saw too much into the crown....

I never got to take such a photo as this while in London this spring...

It was a little strange, seeing the place as believed by Disney when we had been there earlier in the year...

The cutest little full scale train set in Germany

She wasn't quite ready for me..

Found quietly, of getting a beer

I found it exceptional, that Disney had artisans working throughout the day

They had a lot of fun details from the making of Frozen in here!

For those interested:

I have mentioned before that our mother is a Disney travel agent. Should you wish to visit Disney or are considering booking a trip, here is her contact information!
